Tell us what you would like to be different: handling a difficult situation, communicating a need, getting through a routine or taking part in something that matters to you. You can ask about the clinician’s qualifications and experience before choosing an appointment.
Autism and intellectual disability support should respect the adult’s choices, strengths and communication needs. A family member or carer can help with arrangements while keeping the person involved.
Looking for help for a child?
Our children’s services include speech therapy, autism support, behavioural support, special education and school readiness. School readiness is a children’s programme; adult goals may instead concern communication, daily living, further study or work.
For a teenager, contact us to discuss the right age-appropriate pathway. Adult and children’s appointment forms are separate.

Frequently asked questions
Does IDTC provide therapy for adults?
Yes. Alongside our children’s programmes, we provide adult psychological, behavioural and communication support. Adult appointments are available in person in Multan and online. The clinician, suitability and fee are discussed before you book.
Who should I contact first?
Contact Muhammad Salman Afzal, owner and director, through the centre’s phone or WhatsApp number. His profile lists his psychology qualifications. Tell us you are enquiring about adult care so the appointment can be directed appropriately.
Is psychological support the same as psychiatry?
No. Psychological support and psychiatric medical care have different roles. If you need a diagnosis requiring specialist assessment, a medication review or a prescription, ask for a suitably qualified medical practitioner. The services on this page describe psychology and therapy support; they do not promise prescribing.
Can a supporter attend with me?
You can discuss involving someone you trust. Your preferences and consent should guide their role. Tell us about communication or accessibility needs before the appointment so the team can discuss suitable arrangements.
How much is an adult appointment?
Ask us to confirm the clinician, fee, session length and available times for your specific adult service before booking. You can enquire about costs without committing to a course of sessions.
Is the centre wheelchair accessible?
On-site parking and a customer toilet are available. The entrance is not currently wheelchair accessible. Contact us before travelling to discuss access needs or whether an online appointment would suit you.
Routine appointments are not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, seek local emergency medical help. Possible mania or psychosis requires urgent medical assessment.
