For paediatricians, GPs and clinics

How to refer a child — and when we will send them back to you

We are a therapy centre, not a hospital. If you have already looked at hearing, growth and safety, we can take the speech, behaviour and learning work. If you have not, we will say so on the first call rather than start a block of sessions on top of an unaddressed medical problem.

What to put in a one-line referral

Age. Main worry in the parent’s words. Hearing checked or not. Medicines. Anything you do not want us to miss (a cleft, a syndrome, a recent admission). The parent can forward a photo of your note on WhatsApp. That is enough to start.

Address for families who will travel: MPS Road, Block A, Model Town, Multan, near Bloomfield Hall School, Street No. 2. Map: the listing is Inclusive Developmental and Therapy Center. Hours Monday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm.

What we will not take on

  • A child who cannot hear clearly until ENT or audiology has looked — glue ear
  • Choking, a wet voice after drinks, or a shrinking diet with weight loss — doctor first, ARFID
  • Licensed physiotherapy or occupational therapy — we refer; physio or OT
  • Statutory school documents in another country

Schools and teachers

If the next conversation is the classroom, not the clinic, use teacher training and curriculum and a letter the parent can send.

FAQ

Referring a child — questions clinicians ask

What do you actually provide?

Speech and language therapy (faculty Mahnoor Baloch), behaviour support including ABA hours under the owner’s plan, special education, school-readiness work, parent coaching, and child psychology led by owner Muhammad Salman Afzal. Motor and daily-living coaching is named honestly — we do not have a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist on staff.

Do families need my referral letter?

No. Most arrive without one. A short note still helps: hearing status, medicines, what you have already explained to the family. If you have ruled out glue ear, say so. If you have not, we will send them back to you or to ENT before we drill sounds.

Will you send me a report?

After a consultation (Rs 1,500, up to 50 minutes) we can give the family a plain-language summary they may share with you. We do not produce hospital-format discharge letters unless we have agreed that work in advance.

When will you send the child back to medicine?

Hearing in doubt, swallow safety, seizures, faltering growth, a surgical question (cleft, adenoids), or a feeding picture that needs a paediatrician first. We would rather lose the therapy hour than treat through an unaddressed medical problem.

I work outside Multan or outside Pakistan.

Families can use online therapy from other Pakistani cities and worldwide video coaching from abroad. We are not licensed in their country. We will not write an EHCP, IEP or NDIS plan. We can coach the parent while your local pathway runs.

How do I reach you?

WhatsApp or call +92 301 6424265, or email info@inclusivetherapycentre.com. Ask for Muhammad Salman Afzal. Hours Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes.
