🇮🇳 Online support in India

Online speech and development support for Urdu-speaking families in India

From Multan we coach Urdu-speaking families in India by video, in Urdu or English, on nearly the same clock — just half an hour apart — so a session can slot into an ordinary day.

Support for children and families in India

Our centre is in Multan, Pakistan — we don’t have a branch in India. For families in India we work entirely online, in English or Urdu, and we point you to your own country’s services too.

Across India there are many families who speak Urdu at home and want child-development guidance in that language rather than only in English, Hindi or a regional tongue. For those families, finding someone who can talk warmly about a child's speech or behaviour in Urdu can be surprisingly hard, even in big cities. That is the specific gap we help with — we work in Urdu or English, whichever suits your household, with people who share the language and the cultural rhythm of the home.

We are a single physical centre in Multan, in Pakistan, led by speech and language therapist Mahnoor Baloch. We hold no registration or practice in India; for Indian families we work only by video, coaching parents. We are careful to be clear about what we are: an online support and parent-coaching service in your language, not a local licensed provider and not a route to any official Indian assessment.

Practically, the two countries could hardly be closer on the clock — India is just half an hour ahead of Pakistan — so there is no awkward scheduling at all. A morning, afternoon or evening slot at your end is essentially the same hour for us, which makes fitting sessions around school and work genuinely simple.

How we help

Working with families in India

We start by listening. On the first call we ask about your child's day — the languages spoken at home and school, how routines run, what a hard moment looks like — and what you most want to change. Then we agree a small, realistic home plan you can keep up around ordinary Indian family life.

Between calls you lead and we coach. We show you how to draw out language during everyday moments, how to hold a calm and consistent boundary, and how to turn dressing, eating and handwriting into small daily wins. Our free Grow tools give you Urdu and English activity sheets so the time between sessions stays purposeful.

Our team covers speech therapy, ABA and behavioural support, special education, child psychology, developmental assessments and motor, handwriting and sensory-regulation skills. We do not have a licensed occupational therapist, so we describe that strand honestly as practical motor and daily-living coaching rather than clinical OT.

Who we tend to help in India

The families who reach us from India are usually Urdu-speaking households who want developmental guidance in their mother tongue, whether they are in a large city or a smaller town. Some have already seen a paediatrician or a government service and want an at-home coaching layer in Urdu; others are just beginning to worry about a late-talking toddler and want a gentle, familiar first conversation before deciding on next steps locally.

Because we sit just across the border in Multan and share the language, many families find the cultural shorthand a relief — we understand the joint-family setup, the pressures, and the expectations around a child without needing them explained.

How easy scheduling makes sessions

With only a half-hour difference between India and Pakistan, sessions can happen whenever genuinely suits your child — after school, in the early evening, or on a weekend morning — without anyone straining across time zones. That means we can meet when a young child is fresh and cooperative rather than tired.

A session is a simple video call on a phone or laptop, in Urdu or English. We often ask you to keep the camera on your child during play so we can coach on real behaviour as it happens, then pause and talk it through with you.

Local services

Getting help where you are, too

Alongside working with us online, here’s how families in India can reach support in their own area. Processes change, so always double-check locally.

Government hospitals and District Early Intervention Centres

In India, child-development support is available through government hospitals and through District Early Intervention Centres (DEICs) set up under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) child-health programme, which screens and supports children for developmental concerns. A good first step is to ask your paediatrician or local health facility about screening and referral. Availability and services vary from district to district and can change, so confirm the current position locally.

RCI-registered therapists in private practice

In the private sector, look for therapists registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), which registers qualified rehabilitation professionals including speech and language and related therapists. Your paediatrician can often suggest reputable local names. What is available near you differs by city and changes over time, so check current registration and options for your area.

FAQ

Questions from families in India

Are you a registered practice in India?

No. We are a centre in Multan, Pakistan, with no registration or practice in India. We work with Indian families online only, as Urdu or English parent coaching and support. For a formal diagnosis or hands-on therapy you should use local licensed services — government hospitals, DEICs or RCI-registered therapists — which we can point you towards.

Which language do sessions run in?

Urdu or English, whichever suits your household. Many of the families who come to us specifically want developmental guidance in Urdu, which can be hard to find locally.

How does the time difference work?

India is only half an hour ahead of Pakistan, so scheduling is effortless. A session can slot into your morning, afternoon or evening at essentially the same hour for us in Multan — whenever suits your child best.

Can you replace a therapist or hospital in India?

No. We are the between-sessions coach who helps you use a plan at home. Assessment and hands-on therapy belong with local licensed services such as a government hospital, a DEIC or an RCI-registered therapist; we work alongside them.

Can you give an official diagnosis we can use in India?

No. We do not provide formal or official diagnoses, and nothing from us should be treated as an Indian clinical assessment. For that you need a local licensed professional; we can help you understand what to ask for.

My child mixes Urdu with Hindi or a regional language and seems behind. Should I worry?

Often this is normal multilingual development rather than a delay, though not always. On our first call we look across all your child's languages so we do not mistake ordinary bilingual growth for a problem, or overlook a real one.

Do you offer occupational therapy?

No. We do not have a licensed occupational therapist. We coach practical motor, handwriting and daily-living skills, and for clinical OT you would use a local RCI-registered or hospital-based professional in India.
