What autism support looks like in a session
Autism support here is not four clinics. One plan covers communication, behaviour, learning and the school ask. The hour itself is still one skill, stopped while it is going well.
Written by the Inclusive Developmental and Therapy Center therapy team — our Speech & Language Therapist, psychology and ABA staff. This page is awaiting its clinical review.
Who you actually see
Mahnoor leads the first assessment and keeps the plan. Speech hours with her. ABA hours with Noor and Atika. School-readiness with Akasha. Psychology with Salman when feelings or family work lead. Pillar: autism support. How Mahnoor works: autism with Mahnoor.
The shape of the hour
You describe the week. We pick the skill that unlocks the most — a request, a sit, a recovery from a change — and practise it in play. The same skill should show up in the next hour of a different type, not be reinvented. Parent coaching is inside the hour, not a handout at the door.
What we will not sell
A cure. A programme whose only goal is eye contact. A promise that they will be “indistinguishable”. Autism is a lifelong difference. We plan around the child in front of us. Related: autism, myths and facts.

A session — questions parents ask
Do I need a diagnosis first?
No. A worry is enough. Diagnosis sits with a paediatrician or psychiatrist when it is needed.
Will my child see the same person?
As far as we can. The plan is shared, so a change of adult is not a change of story.
Is this ABA only?
No. ABA is one tool inside the plan, not the whole programme.
How do we start?
A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes. “Bacha bulane par nahi mudta” is a complete first sentence.
