Online child-development coaching for Toronto's Pakistani families, in Urdu and English
We are a child-therapy centre based in Multan, Pakistan. For families across the Greater Toronto Area we work online only — helping newcomer and long-settled Pakistani parents understand their child's speech, behaviour and learning while they navigate Ontario's own publicly funded services.
Our centre is in Multan, Pakistan — we don’t have a branch in Toronto. For families in Toronto we work entirely online, in English or Urdu, and we point you to your own country’s services too.
Toronto holds one of the largest South-Asian populations of any city in North America, and Pakistani families are spread right across it — from Scarborough in the east to the apartment towers along the northern edge of the city and out into the wider GTA. Many of these parents grew up speaking Urdu at home and want to talk about their child's development in the language they think and worry in, not through a hurried interpreter.
That is the gap we try to fill. Our centre sits in Multan, Pakistan, where our founder Mahnoor Baloch, a speech-language therapist with more than five years of clinical work, leads a team covering speech therapy, behavioural (ABA-style) support, special education, child psychology and developmental assessment. For Toronto we do none of this in person — every session is a video call. What we offer a Toronto parent is understanding, coaching and continuity, not a local clinic.
We are careful about what that means. A Toronto child who needs a formal diagnosis, a funded therapy place or a school accommodation gets those things through Ontario's system, not through us. Our job is to stand beside you while that unfolds — explaining, translating, and giving you something useful to do at the kitchen table tonight.
Working with families in Toronto
Most Toronto families come to us in one of three moments: right after a worrying comment from a daycare or junior-kindergarten teacher, while waiting months for a publicly funded speech or autism assessment, or after receiving a report they simply cannot decode. In each case we start by listening in Urdu or English, then watching short clips or a live look at your child so our advice is grounded in your real living room, not a checklist.
From there we coach you. If your three-year-old has only a handful of words, we show you how to build language into snack time, the walk to the bus, and bedtime stories — in Urdu, English or both, because bilingual homes are the norm here and not a problem to be fixed. If mealtimes, transitions or big emotions are the battle, we teach the same behavioural principles a good local team would, adapted to a South-Asian household where grandparents may share the home.
We also demystify paperwork. A GTA assessment report, an early-years screening result, or a school's plan can read like a foreign document even to fluent-English parents. We sit with you, translate the meaning into plain Urdu, and help you write down the questions to bring to your next Ontario appointment so you walk in prepared rather than overwhelmed.
Why Urdu-language coaching matters in a city this diverse
Toronto's services are genuinely multilingual, but interpreters are booked by the appointment and rarely stay with your family from one visit to the next. A parent who understands their child best in Urdu can still feel one step removed when every conversation about that child happens in English. Working with us, the whole discussion — the worry, the strategy, the small wins — happens in your first language, and the same person remembers your child from week to week.
This continuity matters most for the long stretches between local appointments. Ontario assessment and therapy waitlists can run for many months, and a family can feel abandoned in that gap. We fill the waiting time with structure: a plan to practise, someone to report back to, and a steady voice reminding you that patient, daily input at home is one of the most powerful things any parent can give a developing child.
Honest limits: what we cannot do for a Toronto child
We will never pretend to be something we are not. We cannot issue a diagnosis that an Ontario school board or funding program will accept, we cannot put your child on a provincial program, and we cannot provide the in-person, hands-on therapy that some children need. If a child requires a licensed occupational therapist — and we do not have one on our team — we say so plainly and point you back to local services for that specific need.
What we can do is make you a stronger, calmer, better-informed parent inside the Toronto system. Families who understand their child's needs, who practise consistently at home, and who arrive at appointments with clear questions tend to get more out of every publicly funded hour they are given. That is the honest value of online coaching: it multiplies the local help you are already entitled to.

Questions from families in Toronto
Are you a licensed therapy provider in Ontario?
No. We are an online-only child-development service based in Multan, Pakistan, and we are not a Canadian-licensed or Ontario-registered provider. We offer parent coaching and support by video in Urdu and English. For a formal diagnosis or funded, hands-on therapy, Toronto families should use Ontario's own publicly funded services.
How do the online sessions actually work?
We meet by video at a time that suits Toronto hours, despite the time difference with Pakistan. You can join in Urdu or English. We watch your child, coach you as parents, and set simple home practice for the days in between.
My child is on a long Ontario waitlist. Can you help meanwhile?
Yes — this is one of the most common reasons GTA families reach out. We give you structured home strategies and a steady point of contact so the waiting months are not wasted, without ever replacing the local assessment or therapy you are waiting for.
Do you have an occupational therapist for handwriting or sensory issues?
We do not have a licensed occupational therapist on our team. We can coach families on motor, handwriting and daily-living skills and sensory-regulation routines, but for formal occupational therapy we will point you to local Toronto services.
We speak both Urdu and English at home. Is bilingualism harming my child's speech?
Growing up bilingual does not cause language disorders — it is completely normal across Toronto's South-Asian families. We help you support both languages at home rather than dropping one, and we can work in Urdu, English or a mix.
Can you give my child an official diagnosis for school or funding?
No. A diagnosis that an Ontario school board or funding program will accept must come from a licensed local professional. We can help you understand your concerns and prepare for that local assessment, but we cannot issue it ourselves.
Is there any cost to try your free tools first?
Our "Grow" parent tools are free to use and are a good starting point before any session. They give Toronto parents developmental guidance you can read at your own pace, in plain language.
