Online Child Therapy for Luton, Without Leaving Town
Luton is small enough that when the local wait grows long, families around Bury Park often find themselves driving to Bedford, Milton Keynes or London just to see a children's specialist. Working online from Multan in Urdu or English, our team brings that specialist help to the kitchen table instead, so a parent can begin without the cost and the miles.
Our centre is in Multan, Pakistan — we don’t have a branch in Luton. For families in Luton we work entirely online, in English or Urdu, and we point you to your own country’s services too.
Luton is a compact town with a notably close-knit Pakistani-heritage community, much of it gathered around Bury Park and the streets nearby, where the shops, mosques and everyday talk carry Urdu and Punjabi as readily as English. In a great many of these homes the language of the kitchen and the elders is not English at all.
Being a town rather than a sprawling city, though, Luton has only a limited pool of specialist children's therapists within easy reach. When the NHS wait runs long, families are often left choosing between it and private help as far away as Bedford, Milton Keynes or London, and many parents here work airport, warehouse and shift jobs that make a fixed twice-weekly trip hard to sustain.
We do not replace Luton's own services and would not claim to. Ours is online coaching from Multan, in the language a household truly uses, so a parent can begin now on their own schedule. The formal diagnosis and any school funding remain with Luton's NHS and council, and we help you understand how to ask for them.
Working with families in Luton
We start with an unhurried video call about what you are seeing: a toddler slow to talk, a child in a Luton primary stumbling over sounds, behaviour the school has raised, or handwriting lagging behind. Because so many homes around Bury Park run Urdu, Punjabi and English together, we take care to tell a real delay apart from a child simply sorting out which language does what, which a one-language check can misread.
The team covers speech and language therapy, ABA-informed behaviour support, special education, child psychology and developmental screening, plus motor skills, handwriting and daily-living routines. Mahnoor Baloch, who founded the centre and has practised speech and language therapy for more than five years, keeps the plan joined up so it works as one effort rather than a scatter of appointments.
Most of the work rests with you, because the practice that changes things happens in the ordinary Luton day, not in a screen twice a week, and with Multan roughly five hours ahead an evening call still lands within our working day. We build activities into meals, the school run and bedtime, and a free set of home tools we call Grow keeps things moving between calls, with no need to travel out of town.
A town that runs short of specialists
The honest difficulty in Luton is scale. It is a town, not a metropolis, so the pool of specialist child therapists within easy reach is small, and when the NHS wait grows long, families feel pushed toward private help in Bedford, Milton Keynes or London, stacking up cost, travel and time off work before anyone has even met the child.
Starting online steps around most of that. You meet the person who will lead your child's plan on the first call without leaving Luton, you hear honestly what can and cannot be done from Pakistan, and you are not paying travel and premium rates simply to be seen somewhere else.
Holding on to Urdu and Punjabi at home
Some Luton parents are told that Urdu or Punjabi at home is confusing a late-talking child, or that they ought to switch to English only. That advice usually does harm, cutting a child off from grandparents and the tight community around Bury Park. A strong home language feeds development, and we build on it.
So we coach you to give your child rich language in whichever tongue is most natural, and we weigh all of them together when we judge progress. A child fluent in Punjabi but behind in English is a different picture from one behind in both, and that reading shapes what we suggest.

Questions from families in Luton
Is there a clinic in Luton I can visit?
No. The centre is one site in Multan, Pakistan, with no branch in Luton or anywhere in the UK. For local families the whole service is online, by video, in Urdu or English.
Are you an NHS or UK-registered provider?
No. We work online only and hold no UK licence or registration, so we cannot give an NHS diagnosis or arrange an EHCP through Luton Borough Council. We are coaching and a second opinion in your own language, alongside Luton's services rather than replacing them.
The nearest private help feels miles away. How does online change that?
That gap is exactly what we fill for many Luton families. Because everything is online, you reach a specialist team without driving to Bedford, Milton Keynes or London, and without the cost and time off work that travel brings.
Do you offer occupational therapy?
No. We have no licensed occupational therapist, so occupational therapy is not something we provide. We can support motor skills, handwriting and daily-living routines as part of a plan, and tell you when a proper OT referral through Luton's NHS is the right step.
My child is on a Luton NHS waiting list. Can we begin now?
Yes, and many local families do. Starting online means you are not losing months of early development while the queue moves, and when the NHS appointment comes we can carry on alongside it or hand over cleanly.
Can you give a formal diagnosis?
No. A formal UK diagnosis comes through the NHS or a UK-registered assessor, not through us. We can help you understand and prepare for the Luton pathway, and we will say honestly when that step is the right one.
