What an ABA and behaviour session looks like
The hour is not a punishment programme. We find what the behaviour is doing — escape, a request they cannot say, attention, sensory load — then teach a better way to get the same job done.
Written by the Inclusive Developmental and Therapy Center therapy team — our Speech & Language Therapist, psychology and ABA staff. This page is awaiting its clinical review.
Who runs it
Mahnoor writes the plan after the first assessment. ABA hours are delivered by Noor Fatima and Atika Zainab under that plan. We list IBT as certified training. We do not print BCBA. Pillar: ABA and behavioural therapy. How Mahnoor frames behaviour: behaviour with Mahnoor.
The shape of the hour
You describe the week in plain words. We pick one behaviour and one replacement: a card, a word, a walk to a quiet corner, a “help” that actually gets help. Then play that makes the new way pay. We track what happened, not a vibe. Stop while it is still going well. A crash is not a successful hour.
The ABC — what happened before, the behaviour, what happened after — is the whole method in one line. Parents can run it at home with the ABC chart.
What we will not do
We do not use pain, shame, or hours of compliance drills. We do not aim for a child who looks typical and feels worse. Therapy is meant to end. If the behaviour is keeping someone safe, we say that first and get the right door — paediatrician, crisis, not more stickers.

A session — questions parents ask
Is this ABA?
Yes, as positive-behaviour teaching under Mahnoor’s plan. It is not a BCBA-led programme, and we do not print that title.
Will you stop the behaviour this month?
We teach a replacement. The old way fades when the new way works. A promise of “stopped in four weeks” is a package, not a plan.
Do I stay?
For the first visits, yes, so you see the prompt. Coaching is the point. See coaching for behaviour.
How much is a first look?
A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes, in Multan or online.
