Pick the job that would change next week
Shoes. Lunch box. Flush. Bag by the door. Use the chores chart and practice log. Coaching: parent coaching.
School mornings
If the crash is the door, that is also school readiness.
The job that would change next week
Shoes. Lunch box. Flush. Bag by the door. Not all four. Tick ten days on the chores chart or log.
If they do it for the therapist and not for you, book coaching in the room where it fails.
School mornings
If the crash is the door, that is also school readiness. A goodbye that ends is a life skill and a school skill.

At home — questions parents ask
They do it for you and not for me.
Then we coach you live, in the room where it fails. That is the point of coaching.
How long until they are independent?
A step can move in days. A whole morning takes longer. We will not give you a fake date.
They refuse every chore. Is it attitude?
Often the task is too big. Shrink it. If refusal is the whole day, tell us that — it may be load, not character.
