Inside a session

What a parent-coaching session looks like

You stay in the room. We watch one routine — a meal, a wait, a bedtime — and change one prompt. The child does not have to perform. You do the practice.

The shape of the hour

You describe the routine that fails. We watch you try it. We change one thing. You run those two steps until the next time. Pillar: parent coaching.

Who can join

Grandparents and helpers. The person who spends the afternoon with your child should hear the same two strategies.

You stay. They do not have to perform.

For a young child we watch you. They can move around the room. If they will not come near the camera, we still work with you. That is the point of coaching versus a clinic hour the child has to sit through.

Grandparents and helpers should hear the same two strategies. Say who will be there when you book.

Two practices, then a review

Not twenty. The next session checks those two, not a new curriculum. Home programs are the menu: home programs. This hour is someone watching you cook.
