Music activities at home
Home practice is one song you already know, a pause so your child can request, and a stop that means stop. A saucepan and a wooden spoon will do. A screen is not a session.

A two-minute routine
Sing one verse. Pause. Wait for a look, a reach or a sound. Then finish. Stop while it is still going well. Coaching can watch you do this live.
When YouTube is the only thing that works
Use the song, then add a stop and a choice. The screen comes down. Pillar: music-based therapy.
The YouTube problem, in one paragraph
Use the song. Add a stop. Add a choice (this song or that). Then the screen comes down. If the only practice is a phone in a face, we are not coaching music — we are coaching a screen.
Kitchen tools count. Coaching can watch you pause live. Pillar: music-based therapy.
Bedtime songs
A song that never ends is not a sleep routine. Warn, finish, lights. If sleep is the wall, that is a different page — ask us rather than stacking more verses.

At home — questions parents ask
They tantrum when I stop the song.
That is useful information. Stopping is the skill. Warn, then stop, then wait. Recovering from a no is school-readiness too.
How loud?
Quiet enough that they can hear themselves. Covering ears is a signal to turn down, not to push through.
The neighbours will complain about the drum.
Then clap, tap the table, or hum. Volume is part of the plan, not a test.
