Early intervention at home

Home is the programme. A clinic hour cannot outrun breakfast, bath and the floor. We pick one routine and two skills, then coach you live if you want.

One routine. Two skills. Coaching can watch you do it.

What to try this week

Name + wait. A pause so they can request. A no they can recover from. Parent coaching. Talking: home talking program.

When home is not enough

Lost skills, no response to name after a hearing check, or a worry that will not sit. Book the assessment.

Breakfast is enough

Name, wait, request, recover from a no. That is a session if you do it on purpose. Coaching can watch: coaching for late talkers.

Screens

A phone in a face is not joint attention. If YouTube is the only thing that works, we still start with a pause and a stop — see music at home for that honesty.

FAQ

At home — questions parents ask

How many minutes a day?

Short bursts inside a routine you already have. Not an extra hour of “therapy homework”.

Grandparents can join?

Yes. The person who has the afternoon should hear the same two prompts.

They will not look at me.

Hearing first. Then we practise looking as a skill, not as a test of love.
